The picturesque village of Grancey le Chateau has a tourist bureau, baker and general store, post office, small bar and restaurant, as well as a primary school, doctor and gendarmerie.

The small town of Is sur Tille is a ten minute drive, where there are a wide range of shops and super-markets.

Part of the house is run as a B & B, with 6 bedrooms accommodating 10 people. It has a dining room with corner kitchen and large sitting room with vaulted ceiling and gallery to 1st floor. These open out onto the enclosed courtyard.

Adjoining is the owner's private accommodation, with large kitchen / salon, sitting room with door to cave and an office with access to rear garden. There are two duoble bedrooms and a spacious mezzanine area with twin beds. The boiler room has another access to a small courtyard and rear garden.

Calais is a 5 hour drive and Dijon, the start of the Burgundy wine area 30 minutes.
